Ingredients

  • 1.25 L (5 ¼ cups) of Arctic Gardens 6 Bean Salad
  • 700 g (25 oz) of chopped onion, sautéed
  • 700 g (25 oz) of chopped celery, sautéed
  • 700 g (25 oz) of carrots , grated
  • 60 g (¼ cup) of margarine
  • 700 g (25o z) of green peppers, chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) of salt
  • 15 medium eggs, beaten
  • 1.125 kg (2 ½ lbs) of cheddar cheese, grated
  • 340 g (12 oz) of rolled oats
  • 125 ml (½ cup) of parsley
  • 7.5 ml (1½ tsp) of dried basil
  • 50 ml (¼ cup) of soya sauce
  • 4 clove of chopped garlic, sautéed
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) of Worcestershire sauce

This recipe can also be done with Arctic Gardens Six Bean Blend 540ml .

Preparation

  1. Chop the 6 bean mix. Sauté onions, celery and carrots in margarine. Add the 6 bean mix and all of the other ingredients.
  2. Pour into 30 x 50 x 5 cm (12 x 20 x 5 inch) greased casserole dish and bake in 150°C (300°F) oven for about 45 minutes.
  3. Top with heated tomato sauce if desired.
