Ingredients
BASE RECIPE
1 bag (2kg)
Arctic Gardens garden bean blend
6 Garlic cloves
3/4 cup (180mL) Lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cup (375mL) Olive oil
VARIATIONS
WITH ROASTED PEPPERS
3 1/3 cup (830mL) Roasted peppers in brine
WITH CURRY
3/4 cup (200mL) Curry paste
WITH DRIED TOMATOES
3 1/3 cup (830mL) Dried tomatoes in oil
WITH BASIL AND AVOCADO
1 bunch Fresh basil, chopped
2 Avocados
WITH BEETS
6 2/3 cups (1,5L)
Arctic Gardens diced beets
2 tbsp (30mL) Cumin powder
Preparation
1. Cook Garden bean blend for 3 minutes in a pot of boiling water. Cool under cold water.
2. Place all ingredients from the base recipe and your chosen variation in a food processor, except for the olive oil.
3. Puree while drizzling in olive oil.
4. If the texture is too thick, loosen with a little water. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
