Ingredients

  • ½ cup (125 g) Canola oil
  • 2½ cups (300 g) Chopped onion
  • ¼ cup (40 g) Chopped fresh garlic
  • ¼ cup (50 g) Chopped fresh ginger
  • 5 tbsp. (25 g) Garam masala
  • 2 tbsp. (15 g) Curry powder
  • Three 680 ml cans (2 L) Store-bought tomato sauce
  • 1 cup (250 ml) Plain yogurt (0% M.F.)
  • 1 bag (2 kg) Arctic Gardens Stew Mix

Preparation

  1. Heat canola oil in a saucepan.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and ginger and sauté for 1 minute; do not let ingredients turn brown.
  3. Add vegetable mix, spices, and tomato sauce.
  4. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.
  5. Add plain yogurt, bring to a boil, and serve.
  6. Pair with basmati rice and lentils.
