Ingredients

  • 1 cup of 2% milk
  • 2 cups of All Bran cereal
  • 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp of baking soda
  • 1 ½ tsp of salt
  • ½ cup of Canola oil
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 medium eggs
  • ½ cup of chopped dates or dried raisins
  • 2 ½ cups of Arctic Gardens Lentils , pureed

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven at 350°F.
  2. Pour the milk on the cereal and leave to soak.
  3. In a medium size bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, combine oil, sugar, eggs, and dates. Add, in this order, the lentils, the dry mix, and the cereals. Mix well.
  5. Fill in muffin cup ¾ full.
  6. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
