Ingredients

  • 300 ml (1 1/4 cup) of Arctic Gardens Dark Red Kidney Beans
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of all purpose flour
  • 500 ml (2 cups) of dark chocolate
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of butter
  • 400 ml (1 3/4 cup) of sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 1.2 ml of salt
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) of pine nuts

This recipe can also be done with Arctic Gardens Dark Red Kidney Beans 2.84L or even Arctic Gardens Black Beans .

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Drain and rinse beans, then purée.
  3. Melt chocolate with butter in a bain marie.
  4. Add sugar and flour. Mix well.
  5. Add pine nuts.
  6. Pour the mixture into a pre-buttered pan that will go into the oven.
  7. Smooth out the top of the brownie mixture.
  8. Bake in a 160°C preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
