Spinach Carbonara

Ingredients
- 2 kg (4½ lbs) of Arctic Gardens Chopped Spinach
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) of Canola oil
- 200 g (7 oz) of bacon slices, cut into pieces
- 100 g (3½ oz) of Arctic Gardens Diced Onions
- 15 g (2 tbsp) of garlic, chopped
- 1 L (4 cups) of béchamel sauce
- 30 g (3 tbsp) of parmesan cheese, grated
- To taste: salt and pepper
This recipe can also be done with the Arctic Gardens Cut Leaf Spinach .
Preparation
- Thaw spinach in the fridge. Drain to remove the maximum amount of water.
- In a casserole dish, sauté bacon in olive oil until golden and crispy. Add onions and garlic. Cook on low heat for one minute.
- Incorporate Béchamel sauce and bring to a boil.
- Add spinach, cheese and stir well.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
