Sunrise Potato Gratin

Ingredients
- 5 kg of yellow flesh potatoes, cubed
- 200 g of butter
- 2 kg of lean ground beef
- 150 g of Arctic Gardens Diced Onions
- 80 ml of vegetable oil
- 1,5 kg of Arctic Gardens Sunrise Mix
- 60 ml of extra virgin olive oil
- 1,2 kg of Arctic Gardens Whole Kernel Corn
- 1,2 kg of Arctic Gardens Cream Style Corn
- 80 g of bread crumbs
- 80 g of butter
- To taste: salt, black pepper, and nutmeg
This recipe can also be done with the Arctic Gardens Peaches and Cream Corn 4x2kg .
Preparation
- Boil potatoes and immerse in ice water. Mash and season with salt, black pepper, nutmeg, and butter.
- Sauté onions. Add ground beef and brown until water has almost completely evaporated and the meat is loose.
- Sauté vegetables in olive oil. Season.
- Put equal amounts of ground beef into two 2” casserole dishes to ensure even cooking.
- Layer equal amounts of the Sunrise vegetable mix into the two casserole dishes.
- Continue layering with creamed corn, then corn kernels.
- Finish the last and thickest layer with mashed potatoes.
- Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
- Garnish with shavings of butter.
- Bake in the oven at 180° C for about 40 minutes.
