Lyon Style Green Beans

Ingredients
For 1,5 kg of green beans
- 1,5 kg (1 bag) of Arctic Gardens Whole Green Beans
- 190 ml (3/4 cup) of butter
- 85 ml (1/3 cup) of chopped garlic
- 190 ml (3/4 cup) of chopped red onions
- 85 ml (1/3 cup) of balsamic vinegar
- 1.5 ml of salt
- 0.5 ml of pepper
For 4 kg of green beans
- 4 kg (1 bag) of Arctic Gardens Whole Green Beans
- 500 ml (2 cups) of butter
- 190 ml (3/4 cup) of chopped garlic
- 500 ml (2 cups) of chopped red onions
- 250 ml (1 cup) of balsamic vinegar
- 4 ml of salt
- 2 ml of black pepper
This recipe can also be done with Arctic Gardens Fine Whole Green Beans .
Preparation
- Steam cook the vegetable mix (You also can put them in boiling water for a few minutes and then in cold water to preserve the colour). Drain and reserve.
- Cook green beans in boiling salted water (10 g of salt per liter). Drain and reserve.
- Melt butter and sear onions until light brown.
- Add green beans, vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Serve.
